Hardware Standards - June 2008 *VISTA will not be configured on college owned computers for the 2008-09 academic year

These standards are intended to insure that:

1. Desktop computers have sufficient resources to run current software products at adequate performance levels.
2. Users have full Internet and campus access.
3. Resources are not wasted on inadequate or outdated equipment.
4. IT is able to offer superior service to users.

This document will be updated periodically to reflect changes in available computer hardware, software and related issues.
