Computer Labs
The User Support Services unit provides computer related support to all faculty, staff and registered students on campus. Working in partnership with the user community, our mission is to provide outstanding support through the timely resolution of their desktop computing issues.

Residence Hall Labs
User Support Services provides 2-3 Windows computers and a network laser printer in the following Residence Halls; Cunningham [FYE], Elliott, Hoiles Peterson, McCready [FYE], McMaster and Miller.
Residence Hall labs being added for Fall 2008; Ketcham and King.

HPCC Computer Lab
|
 The computer lab is located in the Hoover-Price Campus Center. This lab houses 13 Dell computers running Windows XP Pro. Each system is connected to the Internet and campus network.
Computers: Dell Optiplex GX 520 3.2 Ghz, Pentium 4 computers with CD-R/DVD drives, 17" flat panel monitors.
HP Scanjet 4070 scanner.
Printer(s):
HP 8150N printer & Ricoh FT 4822 Copier (.5 cents a copy. May use change or PurplePlus swipe card)
Software Available
Microsoft Office 2007 [still includes FrontPage,Project & MapPoint], eViews, eJournal, SPSS, Mathematica, Adobe Acrobat Reader, and Symantec Antivirus. CD/DVD Burning Software.
This lab is open Monday - Thursday 7:30am - Midnight, Friday 7:30am - 6pm, Saturday 10am - 6pm, and Sunday 10am - 12 midnight.

PC 112 Computer Lab

 The computer lab is located on the 1st floor of KHIC, next to the Library circulation desk. This lab houses 20 Dell computers, running Windows XP Pro. Each system is connected to the Internet and campus network.
Computers:
Dell Optiplex GX745 Intel Core2 CPU 6600 @ 2.40GHz computers with 8X DVD+/-RW drives, 19’’ flat panel monitors. HP Scanjet 5200C scanner.
Printer:
HP 8150N printer
Software Available
Microsoft Office 2007 [still includes FrontPage,Project & MapPoint], eViews, eJournal, SPSS, Mathematica, Adobe Acrobat Reader, and Symantec Antivirus. CD/DVD Burning Software.
This lab is open Monday - Thursday 7:30 am - 12 midnight, Friday - 7:30 am - 5pm, Saturday 9am - 5pm and Sunday 12 pm - 12 Midnight.

PC 035 Computer Lab - Open 24 Hours

 The computer lab is located on the ground floor of KHIC in the 24-hour area. This lab houses 20 Dell computers running Windows XP Pro. Each system is connected to the Internet and campus network.

Mac 036 Computer Lab - Open 24 Hours

The computer lab is located in the lower level of KHIC. This lab houses 20 Apple G5 towers running Mac OS X. Each system is connected to the Internet and campus network.
Computers:
20 Apple G5 macs, 19'' monitors w/ USB external LS120 drives, HP Scanjet 11C scanner.
Printer:
HP 8150N printer
Software Available
Microsoft Office 2008, Photoshop CS, and GoLive CS, Live Motion, Acrobat CS, Art Directors Toolkit, Macromedia Flash MX, Mathematica , SPSS, and Symantec Antivirus.
This lab is open 24 hours a day when classes are in session.
Departmental Labs
Several specialized departmental computer labs exist on campus. Two of our newest labs are Economics, Accounting and Business Administration lab which has 36 Dell computers and is located in T&H 200. The other is a mobile computer lab in the Education department consisting of 20 laptop computers. Other departmental labs include Computer Science/Information Systems, Foreign Language, Physics, Geology, Chemistry, Biology, Art, Music, Writing Center, Exercise Science and Psychology. Accesses to these labs are given by the department or by the faculty members.
