Unless otherwise noted, your UserName for each of the following accounts is your user id (the first six letters of your last name, and the first letter of your first and middle name. For example, John A. Washington’s username would be washinja. All accounts marked "Automatically provided" below are provided for all new students once they register and for all new faculty and staff once Human Resources provides the necessary forms with proper authorization to the Information Technology department.

If there is a problem with your account, or if you are requesting a different account, please contact the HelpDesk by phone at HELP (4357) / 330.829.8726 (off-campus) or by email at helpdesk@muc.edu.

Description: Your MUC e-mail address is username@muc.edu. The mail server, Microsoft Exchange 2007, supports IMAP4 access and web-based access https://webmail.muc.edu/owa.

Disk Space: 150MB for faculty and staff; 30MB for students

Graduates' email accounts will expire on February 1, 2009 unless you are enrolled in classes for the spring 2009 semester. 

Account: Campus Domain
Description: This account allows faculty, staff and students to log in to the Campus domain (CAMPUS), a collection of IT servers running Windows 2003. This domain provides an H: drive for personal and web space (1.5GB for faculty and staff and 300MB for students), extensive group/common space (the S: drive), faculty/staff hand-in/hand-out space (the M: drive), software installation services (the N: drive), and departmental web space (the R: drive).

Account: Administrative Systems
Description: An administrative systems account allows access to administrative services.
How to Request: Supervisor receives form from HR and with appropriate signatures, returns to IT
How to Access: Login with assigned username and password
Additional Information: n/a

Account: Faculty and Student Academic Information
Description: IQWeb account allows access to the College course registration system and academic information.
How to Request: For students, it is provided for the Registrar’s Office and created during Preview sessions or by individual request.

For Faculty, the account is managed by IT
