Telecommunications
The telecommunications area of the Information Technology Department of Mount Union College manages telecommunications voice services and the development, design, and installation of the infrastructure of voice technology for the benefit of the students, faculty, staff and visitors. |

Telecommunications will:
Evaluate, develop, and maintain the colleges voice infrastructure, supporting voice connections including support of campus video conferencing.
Provide and maintain the campus telephone system and all related services, including: long distance, voice mail, campus telephones and on campus emergency phones.
Provide engineering, design services and coordination for large scale capital voice projects.

IMPORTANT - Due to the implementation of our wireless infrastructure the use of 2.4GHz cordless phones is strictly prohibited. We strongly recommend 5.8GHz or 900MHz phones as an alternative.
