Multimedia Classrooms Mount Union College has 41 multimedia classrooms. Sometimes referred to as "smart classrooms", these instructional environments usually include a custom-designed podium, a Mac and/or a PC computer, a document camera, a microphone, a VCR/DVD player, and a touch screen panel or Pixie wall mounted control for the ceiling-mounted projector, lights, sound, and screen. These rooms are scheduled for classes but may be available for occasional use. Contact the Registrar's Office at ext. 6018 to schedule a room. These “Specialty Labs” are used almost exclusively by students within that department. Occasional use by other departments for particular student or faculty projects is also possible. These carts generally include both a Mac and a PC computer, a projector, speakers, and a network cable. To reserve a cart, you will need to contact the person charged with scheduling that particular cart. The names and phone numbers of the current contact people or other sign up procedures are listed below. Bracy Hall has a conference room on the 3rd floor (Seminar Room 303) that is equipped with a portable projector and screen for occasional presentations. The East Building has a departmentally-owned laptop and projector used by Psychology throughout the building. The Eells Art Studio has departmentally-owned equipment that allows for multimedia teaching presentations throughout the studio. The IT Training Room is a teaching lab is used for software training workshops targeted at faculty, staff, and members of the Department of IT (student workers and staff). The President’s House is used for high-level presentations to groups of prestigious guests. Bracy Hall Seminar Room 303 Eells Studio: No photo available.
