| The Instructional Technology and Media Services (ITMS) unit provides support for all MUC academic computing, media services, and faculty & staff development and training. Instructional Technology and Media Services offers a variety of services for students, faculty and staff. The ITMS unit also oversees Channel 2 on campus, Security Camera management, Cafeteria Menu Boards, CCTV (cable system), the IT Newsletter, documentation, and Course Management/Assessment tools. |

ITMS Services
From individual consultation on using technology to grant writing support, ITMS is here to help you. Did you know that ITMS can provide in-class training to students so they can develop Web sites, PowerPoint presentations, and videos? Check out the different ways we can help you use technology more effectively.
Our Mission
Instructional Technology and Media Services provides training and support to enable the campus community to use Mount Union College's technological resources and media equipment effectively. With a focus on service and a commitment to the principles of a liberal arts education, we help faculty and staff to better meet the dynamic educational needs of our students.
Cable and Video Services
Our Media Services Manager, (ext. 3893), runs our Closed-Circuit Television System (CCTV). Did you know that you can have a particular video broadcast to the campus community? A complete list of our new cable channel offerings is available on the IT website.
Multimedia Facilities
The College has over 60 multimedia-equipped classrooms. The Media Services Manager oversees the operation of the audio-visual equipment. If you have any difficulties using a multimedia facility on campus, contact the helpdesk first (ext. 4357). A maintenance request will be sent to ITMS staff to repair it. ITMS can also provide training on using a given multimedia room for your courses or presentations. .

IT Inventory Checkout
Do you need a projector for a special presentation off campus? Would you like to use a laptop at your next conference? The Department of IT provides portable technology equipment that you can check out on a temporary basis for occasional use on campus and off. Contact the Helpdesk (ext. 4357) for more info or click on the link above to get more information and use our online equipment checkout form.
