The mission of the Administrative Computing Team is to relentlessly strive to add value to the student dollar by providing solutions that improve service or reduce costs in administrative offices. When doing so, we will strive to exceed our end users’ expectations with regard to timeliness and attention to detail

Administrative Computing offers assistance in these areas.

• Creating Reports:
• Restoration of Backed files.
• Installation of Administrative Software.
• Setting up Access Profiles.
• Regulating Database Accesses.
• Data Uploads
• Data Downloads
• Running Complex Reports.
• Schedule Data Backups.
• Ensure the Integrity of Data Backups.
• Implementing Upgrades to Administrative Software.
• Creating Test Plans.

It is mandatory that users and administrative personnel direct all Administrative Computing Support help requests to the Helpdesk by using our Support Request Form.

Helpdesk personnel using Track-IT system logs the Helpdesk request and assigns the appropriate Administrative Computing System Support Specialist to the Task.

Power Campus: The enterprise software that helps manage most of the administrative data and functions of Mount Union College. This software package facilitates the Admissions, Registration, Transcripts maintenance, student residence life activities, scheduling and billing functions and other related administrative function of Mount Union College.

IQ Web is its web interface module that is marketed by SCT principals.

Marge Kavulla - is the main support person to handle issues related to Power Campus Admissions Data.
Marge Kavulla - is the main support person to handle issues related to Power Campus Registration Data.
Mr. Dave Bernat - is the main support person to handle issues related to Power Campus Billing Data.

Great Plains: Enterprise approved financial system package for Mount Union College. The main General Ledger entries are maintained by this package. Interfaces with all administrative systems. Facilitates Budget forecasting and projections for the college.

Mr. Mark Kolenz - is the main administrative support for the Great Plains software.

ADP: The most popular industry wide used HR Maintenance package. The Human Resources offices mainly use this software package. Data in this package is highly sensitive and is protected and hidden. Interactions in this package are exclusive to the Human Resources Personnel.

Mrs. Kavulla- is the main field support for the ADP. Because of highly sensitive nature of the data handled by this software, the IT support people are unable to assist users in the day-to-day operations of this software. However IT does respond to system level data management issues, like Backup of Data, Installation of Software, Monitoring the backup processes etc.,

PowerFaids: The software that facilitates the activities related to Financial Aids. This software conforms to the Federal Regulated procedures imposed on College Financial Aid services.

Mrs. Kavulla - is the main systems support for the PowerFaids data. She assists the Financial Aid personnel with report creation, exports mandated by federal regulations, ensuring the integrity of the data etc.,

Raisers Edge: The system that facilitates the functions of College Fund Raising activities. Also it helps maintain the data activities relating college fund raising campaigns.

Mrs.Kavulla - Is the main administrative support for the Raisers Edge Software and time-to-time conducts training sessions for the users of this software. She also offers support in setting up the code tables to manage the various fundraising campaigns of the college.

e-Time: Is the time monitoring software that manages Mount Union College Physical Plant personnel Time Clock card readers. The software seamlessly integrates into the ADP payroll system in order to process the settlements.

Mr. Mark Kolenz - Is the main onsite IT support for the E-Time Clock application. Again because of the sensitive nature of the Data, IT is unable to support the day to day operations of this software. However IT supports maintenance of the system level functions like Installations/Data file setup and Backup support.

PC-Time Clock: The alternative time monitoring software that frees up the usage of mechanical time clock card readers. This system allows PC to be used as clocking media. The software seamlessly integrates into the ADP payroll system in order to process the settlements.

Mr. Dave Bernat - Is the main onsite IT support for the PC-Time Clock application.
Again because of the sensitive nature of the Data, IT is unable to support the day to day operations of this software. However IT supports maintenance of the system level functions like Installations/Data file setup and Backup support.
