The Raiser's Edge
Raiser's Edge is a comprehensive fundraising and development activities system. The system allows the advancement and alumni staff the ability to build stronger relationships with constituents, analyze the effectiveness of development efforts, and maintain an accurate list of alumni.

Having The Raiser's Edge helps fundraisers to track progress on campaigns, funds and appeals, as well as maintain current information on alumni. It allows end users to create their own queries, exports and mailings. Also, it allows users to create many different parameters in the reports module, which can be saved to be used again.
Mount Union is using the network version of The Raiser's Edge, version 7.50, and we are licensed for 20 users.
The Raiser's Edge documentation specific to Mount Union (procedures, steps in running custom reports, etc) is located in N:\BLAKBAUD\DOCS. The network shared space for use of data exchange between Raiser's Edge users and IT is N:\BLAKBAUD\DATA. The Raiser's Edge database is backed up every weekday evening, (Monday Ð F Friday) at 7pm, which takes approximately 30 minutes. The service will shut down at that time, so no users should be trying to access The Raiser's Edge during the backup procedure.
